It had been too long.

The man woke up with motivation and drive. He had not touched his weapon in many years and knew the time was right to do so again. He had started a family and enjoyed his time as a father, but now.. now was the time to once again unleash his passion and purpose.

<B>He went to dress when a memory flashed in his head.

*CLASH* *BRRRRRZT* *CHING* He could hear the sounds of his youth. He had been a celebrated soldier once upon a time. A colonel of his unit he fought off many evil foes. He would was at the brink of sun and train silently, no weapons, just stretching his body, extending it to the maxium.

His body was never too muscluar. He had refined it perfectly with a great diet of fish and eggs and rigerous training. He would then lift weights much heavier than his blade to keep him quick and light on his toes when using it. How the man felt such warm and proud feelings, as well instant motivation to get his body back to this!

<b>As he tied his tunic, a memory flashed in his head.

"COLONEL!" the man heard a voice of one of his men like he was standing right behind him. "The enemy has crossed into our camp!!" The man remembered fondly how he told the soldier to calm down and walk slowly out with him. The man had trained himself sharply to use his tongue over his sword when he could. His mind focused on the goal of peace, he approached the enemy Commander with his soldier by his side.

He turned to his man and as they stood ten feet apart and ordered him to drop his weapon. He then yelled for all his men to drop their weapons immediately. The man was confident in himself, and knew without a doubt peace could be achieved.

The enemy Commander's brow raised as he asked the man what his intentions were. His mind focused he told him exactly what both sides needed to co-exist and the two men formed an alliance after their chat. His mind, sharper than ever, was proud of peace winning. And the man nodded to himself feeling it again.

<b>As he went to the weapon shed, a memory flashed in his head.

He could feel the sun shining on him after he walked away with his pregnant wife, leaving the camp and beginning his next goal in life of being a father. His spirit was unleashed as he saw his son. A new life that he helped create, one he could support and teach and hope bring up a good man.

Then his daughter, to support her and cherish her in all she does! His spirit became focused day by day with each silent minute he spent with them, with his beloved wife, and himself.

The man snapped out of his memories with a smile, his mind..body..and spirit all joined together and ready for his training.

He opened the shed, smiled as he took the handle of his sword in his hand... lifted it... and fell forward. It had been forty years and the man, now in his seventies, couldn't lift the sword, his back cracked and was stiff, and he had to sit down from his breath being gone.

The man looked to the sun and knew what he must do. He found his childen's baby rattle and began to lift it like a weight. He had a lot of work to do to hone that body to match his mind and spirit!
